Life's been busy! While I like that, it sure doesn't leave me with a lot of time for blogging.

I've finally found a job - and a science job, at that! Not as cool as working for the Smithsonian with the Przewalski horses (a girl can dream!), but interesting nonetheless. And hey, check out our Chief of Security:

Cute, isn't he? That's him letting loose after a long day in the lab - normally he's hard at work making sure the delivery men and women leave the correct packages and pay the "biscuit" toll.

The best part is that it's a small business owned by one of the women who works there. Everyone's smart, does what they do well, and takes pride in their work. I *love* not working for someone I'll never meet, or worse: someone who can never take the time to remember my name.

In other news, this:

is no longer an accurate shot of what I see when I look out the window. Yay! Of course, it's not nearly as warm as I'd like yet.. but I'll settle for the 50's. It's actually pretty decent riding weather (when there aren't 30+ mph winds). I just can't wait to break out the tank tops, skirts, and flip flops again. I'll take sweat over goosebumps and chilblains anyday.

One of the many ways the oh-so-helpful Squirrel helps me stay warm.
